We started our farm shop as a small part of the business running it along with your dairy
\ndoorstep delivery business.\u00a0 We have since sold the dairy sector of the business and the
\nshop now takes the space that used to house our old creamery, where we used to
\npaterurise and pack our milk.\u00a0 It has helped make Allarburn Farm Shop a complete
\nshopping experience as customers can find all the fresh local produce in one place.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

“We are farmers with a farm shop.\u00a0 Eighty percent of our products stocked at Allarburn
\ncomes from Local Producers, Bakers, Butchers or from Allarburn’s own production.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

You can see pictures of our own hens, sheep, ducks, tractors, and cattle all around the
\nshop.\u00a0 It emphasies how local we are, and shows the processes behind the produce and
\nhelps bring the feel of the farm to Edgar Road.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Allarburn is also a major stockist of local foods from Independant, small-scale producers.\u00a0 Hilary
\nsays:<\/p>\n

I have a real passion for local food.\u00a0 There is a vast amount of excellent produce in this
\narea.\u00a0 We provide a platform for small producers who might make beautuful chutney and
\njam but who have no shop.\u00a0 We’re delighted to provide an outlet for them, in turn we can
\noffer different, unusual, products to our customers.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Our focus in our store is to bring you the best local produce we possibly can at the best price.<\/p>\n

Because we’re producing the goods ourselves we have full traceability and can ensure the quality

We ensure it’s a fair price for us, our producers, and for you our customers.<\/p>\n

We make no apology for only stocking products only when in season, hence flying the flag for
\ngood Scottish produce.<\/p>\n
